Your assessment is not an advertising profile.
Operator Instinct collects the information needed to process a purchase, deliver a private report, improve the instrument, and respond to team inquiries. We do not sell personal information.
Individual purchase
Payment and access information
Your purchase email, Stripe checkout and customer identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, and access issuance timestamps.
To confirm the $12 purchase, issue assessment access, provide support, prevent duplicate delivery, and maintain transaction records.
Stripe processes payment. Material Shift does not receive or store your full card number.
The assessment uses an opaque participant identifier derived from the purchase. The scoring record does not need your email address to calculate your result.
Assessment and report
Evidence used to create your result
Paired choices, uncertainty responses, response timing, session status, instrument version, result payloads, quality flags, and optional feedback.
To score your assessment, render your private Operator Atlas, restore access, detect technical problems, and improve wording, scoring, accessibility, reliability, fairness, and validation.
Scoring keys stay server-side. Public browser files do not contain the answer-to-instinct map.
Raw assessment answers are not sent to advertising platforms or used to build an advertising profile.
Teams of 10+
Team inquiries and group programs
We collect the name, work email, organization, group size, and message supplied through the inquiry form so we can respond.
Individual reports remain private by default. An organization receives aggregate cohort information unless a different arrangement is explicitly disclosed and appropriately consented to.
We do not provide raw answers, a named employee leaderboard, or an undisclosed hiring recommendation.
Storage and control
How information is handled
We use service providers for hosting, private application storage, payment processing, and operational delivery. They process information for those services under their own contractual and security obligations.
Transaction records are retained as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, support, and legal obligations. Assessment records may be retained for report delivery and consented research unless deletion is requested or a program states a shorter period.
You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting Material Shift through the team inquiry form and identifying the purchase email. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required by law.
This notice may be updated as the product and research program mature. The date above identifies the current version.
