Terms · September 5, 2026

One purchase. One complete experience.

These terms describe the individual Operator Instinct digital product sold by Material Shift.

The product

What your purchase includes

Assessment

Access to one complete Operator Instinct administration consisting of 45 paired choices.

Report

Your complete private Operator Atlas, including your named identity, six-instinct signature, interpretation, practical guidance, and setup card.

Price

A one-time payment of $12 USD. Operator Instinct is not sold as a subscription and there is no consumer upgrade tier.

Delivery

Assessment access is provided after successful payment. Your report is generated after completion and can be reopened from the same browser while local access remains available.

Important boundary

An interpretation, not a high-stakes decision tool.

Operator Instinct describes relative preferences among six useful operating instincts. It is not an IQ test, diagnosis, professional credential, or guarantee of performance. It is not validated for hiring, promotion, compensation, performance management, clinical use, or other high-stakes decisions.

Access, refunds, and responsibility

Plain terms for a digital product.

Accurate information

You are responsible for providing a working email address and for using the assessment for its stated purpose.

Access recovery

If a technical failure prevents access after payment, contact Material Shift with the purchase email so access can be investigated or restored.

Refunds

If a verified technical failure prevents delivery and cannot be corrected, Material Shift will provide a replacement access path or refund the purchase. Completed assessments and delivered reports are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

Availability

We may maintain, update, or temporarily suspend the service. Material scoring or interpretation changes are versioned so results can be tied to the instrument used.

Personal use

Your report is licensed for your personal use. Do not resell access, probe the scoring system, automate submissions, or interfere with the service.

Research and changes

The instrument will continue to mature.

Consented assessment evidence may be used to evaluate item clarity, scoring behavior, reliability, fairness, and validation. Future versions may differ. These terms may be updated; the date above identifies the version governing a purchase.

Questions about a purchase or these terms may be sent through the team inquiry form with “individual purchase support” in the message.
